We were very satisfied with our stay! Attentive staff. Excellent location of the hotel. Private beach 2 minutes walk from the hotel. I was pleased that there is a gym, small, but with everything you need!
I also liked the food, for every taste and preference. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
Beautiful embankment, friendly Turks and the sea!
Beach towels are provided on deposit.
Minibuses with an orange stripe go to the center of Marmaris, they cost three lira one way, there are taxis. In the center there is a very beautiful embankment, many cafes, yachts along the coast, a large market.
In general, I liked everything, a positive holiday.
It is located 50 meters from the hotel restaurant, 100-150 meters from the hotel.
Sun loungers on the sea are periodically sold to outsiders. That is, you can come to the beach and there will be no places, they were sold to someone and your hotel bracelet does not give you any advantages "who first got up and slippers. " Not the fact that it will be like this every day, a matter of luck.
Umbrellas - straw rotten, full of holes, not giving shade, sun loungers, many broken, dirty, randomly scattered along the beach, blocking the passage to the water. At any moment, a Turk can come up to you (if you are lying on the border of the beach - there are white sunbeds) with the opinion that this is his beach because his white sunbeds, and yours are blue, and therefore you need to buy a drink from him. Send it, or ignore it or buy a drink : -)
Alternatively, drag the white lounger to the right (this is what most people do). All options are working.
In general, the beach is a solid deuce!
There is simply not enough space near the pool.
In general, with such a large hotel, there is quite a bit of open useful territory.
Not always, but at certain moments, be prepared for the fact that everyone will be on top of each other.
Little space. The hotel, in terms of its usable area, is not suitable for its load, neither in terms of the number of sunbeds on the beach, by the pool (small pool), nor in terms of the number of seats in the "restaurant". You have to be prepared to compromise the lack of space. This is absolutely not a problem. Please be patient, places are being vacated both on the beach and in the restaurant and by the pool.
The seats in the restaurant are comfortable both inside and out.
The staff - there were no comments, all friendly, fast.
Rooms are cleaned daily, efficiently and unobtrusively. There are indicators on the doors that show that the room is either free or there is a guest in the room.
Hammam and fitness center - beyond praise!
Animation Entertainment 3 people, good guys, trying quite varied.
For an amateur, in the absence of a place in the hotel for animation, in principle, not bad.
Kitchen. Fine. Seriously, for this hotel the chef and variety of food is just superb. Drinks ....well, good beer, a couple of good cocktails, there are paid drinks.
It is difficult to stay hungry, because in addition to breakfast, lunch, dinner, there are intermediate feedings in the form of ice cream, sweets, potatoes, hamburgers and soups.
Contingent. Specifically selected. Ukrainians and Russians, British and Scots, a couple of inconspicuous Dutch ...sooooo many Turks; there were no conflicts, everything was more or less calm, with the exception of a few drunken antics of Russian-speaking citizens (however, this did not directly concern vacationers, but rather annoyed). Quite noisy.
He is paid. 10 lira per day or 50 lira per week. Each floor has 2-3 routers to which you need to connect as your location changes. The internet didn't drop, but it wasn't fast either.
At the intersection of Kayabal cd. and 72 sk 300m from the hotel and 50m to the left of the Icmeler administrative center can be bought for 75lira or $22 a turkcell SIM card with 6g internet (in fact it will be 8Gb, 2 as a gift). Passport is required upon purchase. The procedure will take 15 minutes, they work from 9 to 1 at night.
4.5G speed 133/70.
It took me 6Gb in 7 days, 3 phones + laptop were connected through one hotspot. The speed is always perfect.
The next replenishment on your next trip to Turkey (the SIM card remains with you) will be from 15 to 55 lira, depending on your needs, you can pay the balance by credit card.
Or in any cafe you buy anything, get access to wifi and use as much as you want until the end of your vacation (but only in this cafe).
On 21.07 at 1.30 there was an earthquake. We were on the 5th floor (in fact it is the 6th floor). It was shaking very hard, table lamps and cosmetics flew out of the bathroom. The walls cracked.
Cracks formed in the outbuildings and stairwells.
After that, shaking with sufficient regularity but with a small magnitude was felt on the 6th floor starting from 4 balls, on average 1-2 times a day.
It feels like 4 points jolts like in a train. At 5 there is already a slight crackle. Very uncomfortable.
Tip: AFAD is the Turkish civil service responsible for earthquakes. There is a site AFAD there is a program in IOS/Google play. You will see the real picture of shocks, receive notifications and you will have 10-15 minutes to react. Information is obtained from stationary seismographs. By the way, I don’t understand why hotels in seismically dangerous areas such as Mugla, Izmir, Bodrum do not install such seismographs.
Program in Turkish and English.
If you have a twitter subscribe to Deprem Takip you will receive notifications on your phone or smart watch.
I read some British reviews where it was said about the evacuation of the hotel. I didn't see any evacuation. Maybe they didn't reach the fifth floor.
The panic was very light, people spent the night on the street, the hotel provided everyone with hot and cold drinks.
External signs of a beginning earthquake: inadequate behavior of cats (I even wanted to take one into the room), a sharp wind in the absence of clouds, a sharp temperature drop in the sea (as if someone were throwing warm water).
Tip: keep documents, money, a phone and a set of clothes at hand at night that you can quickly put on, this will shorten your evacuation from the room.
Dolmushi white-orange 3 lira one way for about 20 minutes. They go until 2 am.
Boat to Marmaris 15 liras, the last one goes to Marmaris at 20.00 to swim for 35 minutes, the entrance is right on the pier by the beach. Very beautiful, you will swim through very beautiful places. Definitely worth a try. The boat goes back at 23.00 this is the last return flight. They run in both directions with a frequency of 2-3 hours.
In the center (200m from the hotel) there are supermarkets with adequate prices, transport, shops, a lot of cafes, restaurants with original design and good cuisine. Almost all of them are rated on TripAdvisor.
Good selection of car, electric scooter and bike rentals. From the hotel to the center of Marmaris - the promenade along the promenade is 7.5 km.
Icmeler compares favorably with Marmaris with a milder climate, not so hot and stuffy, clear sea, calmness, unobtrusiveness (this is strongly felt after trips to Marmaris) and very picturesque nature. This is a bohemian vacation.
You can spoil your vacation except for the little things that I mentioned above and the wrong choice of a tour operator.
I put the hotel 4-, the tour operator 2.
Accommodation with Annex Tour
All jokes start at the airport. On the bus, they begin to importunately load you with information from the "well-known facts about Turkey" section, about the need to wash your hands, drink clean water and not sunbathe in the active sun.
To the question, "Will they accommodate us normally"? : the answer is - we do not settle, these are your problems with the hotel. The load on general topics lasted about an hour, exhausting you.
We arrived at an intermediate hotel: Sentido Lotus. And it turned out that 13 passengers from the bus were denied accommodation. Resale. They settle in another hotel (and without the right to choose). More interesting - Anex and the accompanying guides knew about it. All this nonsense on the bus was to torture people with talk.
Couldn't you put these 13 people separately in a separate bus and resolve the issue only with them? You knew there would be conflict! No, why? ! - the principle of 30 waiting for 13 was in effect. And naturally, after the entire bus waited in the parking lot for 40 minutes, those 13, corny guided by a sense of guilt before the rest, gave up and settled in a lower-class hotel. What would you name the tour operator after that? I was not among these deceived people, but from the outside it looks just disgusting.
Eventually. We left the airport at 13.
30 arrived at the hotel and settled at 17.40.
It's really horror! Rudeness, swindlers at the settlement, the hotel guide Tatyana Avdonina is a separate moment of Anex's reputation, she will explain to you in an accessible way that she is not interested in your problems, that you are no one and she will not deal with you. This applies to all aspects of the stay from accommodation, excursions, solving problems with the hotel to receiving any information. Do not expect assistance or help, there will be a contemptuous look and the phrase: "you need it, you decide. "
I absolutely do not understand the position of Aneks on this issue, your people are spoiling your already not chic reputation. And I see this in other reviews, so my opinion is not unique.
I believe that if Anex is not able to train his staff, as they did in TUI or Join Up, then it is better for Anex to refuse hotel guides altogether. A little more and they will be beaten corny.
And the process of registration and settlements can be automated, as it happens with self-settlement. Moreover, those who settle on their own, the Turks, for example, have no problems with the settlement.
Avoid this tour operator, you will ruin your mood and most likely spend extra money on solving your problems yourself.
The only thing that smoothed out the disgusting impression from the tour operator was the return transfer with the guide Vladislava. Everything here was correct, informative, unobtrusive, with a sincere desire to help.
We were settled immediately. Placed successfully, the room is new, clean, comfortable. The view from the window is good.
The room was cleaned almost daily, linen and towels were changed. They left tips every day.
I liked the food very much (fish, meat, fruits, sweets). Alcohol is mainly represented by local wine and beer. There are machines with coffee, cocoa, cappuccino. The guys in the restaurant are very attentive.
The hotel is located next to the beach, which the hotel has its own and not small, there are always enough sunbeds, because. the main contingent is Europeans (and they, as a rule, do not reach the beach, squish in the pool with bleach and empty the bar).
The territory of the hotel as such is absent and is limited to the area around the pool.
Animation was, but small.
The hotel overlooks the embankment, where you can take a walk in the evening, there are no noisy establishments near the hotel.
Have a nice holiday everyone!
In general, we have already been to Turkey 3 times, but we always went to Kemer / Goynuk / and were always very satisfied. This time we decided to change direction and chose Marmaris, because. We decided to go spontaneously / and in the high season / especially there was nothing to choose from, and the prices were a little surprised.
Letual cost us two adults and a seven-year-old child
at $3300 for a standard room with all-inclusive meals for 2 weeks. We flew to Dalaman, without delay, the operator met us perfectly, drove 2 hours to Icmeler.
The hotel immediately gave us the keys to the room, we went up to the 3rd floor and then I got a shock - the room is 15 sq. m, and the walls are not even, but with protrusions and recesses, which creates inconvenience when moving. The bathroom is in the same vein - it is very difficult for two people to disperse even sideways.
The furniture is all shabby, I don’t even know what year the TV is, one bedside table and two lamps. The dressing table has no light. True, we were pleased with the balcony - simple. And in this closet of Papa Carlo we had to "rest" for 2 weeks. So we ended up only on our first trip abroad in 1996, but since then how much water has flowed under the bridge and we go on vacation 2 times a year, although I always chose hotels myself, but then I trusted my husband what to choose in Turkey 4 stars is always decent.
They didn’t take things apart, so we decided to ask for a bigger room in the morning. Let's go for a walk and then dinner. Five minutes from the room and we are already on the beach, there is a pier a stone's throw away.
Dinner was quite decent, and in general the food corresponded to a four-star hotel. Breakfast is like pancakes everywhere, scrambled eggs - in line for 15 minutes, and choose the rest - vegetables, jam, honey, cereal, fruits, but their pastries are unimportant, 3-4 types of rolls of different shapes, but all for one taste / I don’t have them I eat - I don’t care /, but my men respect me, so they had to eat bread - very tasty white and gray. Lunch is also quite - soup, always hot meat, chicken, fish cooked deliciously not spicy, so that children can eat everything, side dishes, salads, vegetables, fruits.
For dinner in the same vein. The food is good - watermelons, melons, oranges, apples every day, grapes, plums, peaches not always. Drinks in the restaurant at the bar, pour water and wine yourself. This hotel has breakfast from 7 to 10, lunch from 12.45 to 14 / yes only 1 hour 15 minutes. and if you come to the opening of the restaurant or after 15 minutes, then you may not find a free place and the same thing with dinner, it is best to come 40 minutes before. before closing /, lunch 14.30 to 15.30 / I don’t remember exactly because was not - french fries, hamburgers, vegetables /, afternoon snack 16.30-17.30 / tea, coffee and two kinds of nasty muffins /, dinner from 19.30 to 21.30 / yes, yes, only 2 hours /.
So you see for yourself AL is quite peculiar, drinks all day long at the pool bar are naturally free, although we only drank tea and coffee a couple of times and beer once more, tried wine at dinner - we liked everything.
The territory of the hotel is missing. The hotel building itself is shaped like a G, in the middle there is an outdoor pool and a paddling pool, a "tennis playground" and a playground are stuck on the side, all of the same size as in a dollhouse. That's the whole territory, and there is also a tennis table by the pool.
Animation - I also think that it is missing, 3 girls alternately do gymnastics - in the morning 20 minutes, in the afternoon water aerobics 20 minutes. and in the evening a round dance with the kids for 15 minutes. True, every evening a musician comes and plays by the pool, and the Germans listen to him with pleasure and drink beer.
The beach - through a small footpath /sand and small galaka/ for this hotel is free, sun loungers and umbrellas are also free, and a mattress for money /but it is not needed at all/.
The sea is clean, although the boats are nearby, the entrance is good, the temp. water was 25 grs. Well, that's the description of this hotel. Change the number - please $ 560 and move / though I did not see the number. money was a pity, they took $ 1200 with them to Turkey and always praised $ 700 /.
When our guide came, we found out that our hotel was almost a five by local standards, which we were convinced of after a promenade to neighboring hotels. Nearby was the hotel "Aqua" 5, it almost did not differ from ours - also without territory and with the same pool, animation at the same level.
Hotel "JOY" just amazed us - a terrible dump, even though 5. But then there were completely different hotels "Marti la Perla" 4 - very nice and the area is good and animation / what we managed to see and hear / and "Marti Resort" 5 - cute but rather pretentious /evening dresses and all that/.
When we bought tickets, we were told that our hotel was new, and therefore no one was in it and the Russians did not rest there, and indeed we were the only Russians in the entire hotel, but about the "new" one, it's new on our market, because our tour operators have not worked with him before, almost only Germans rest there and are happy with everything - everything is simple and satisfying, they don’t need anything else.
And all the Russians are in "Marty La Perla" and "Marty Resort", but the toad crushed me $ 4100 cost "Marty La Perla", and we only went to Cuba in May for $ 5000, so $ 4100 for Turkey is debauchery.
In general, the prices for everything are simply atas - gasoline $ 2 liter, ice cream / at the hotel for money / $ 1 is the cheapest, and a snack on the street for three / soup, a small pizza and juice / 25 is the cheapest. Nature is of course very beautiful - mountains and pines are very close to the town / prettier than in Kemer /.
Icmeler itself is a very clean and cozy town, there is even a water channel / like Venice / very picturesque, especially in the evening. The Turks are very friendly and responsive, they always try to say something in Russian.
Naturally, we didn’t go on excursions from Teza - we rented a car or took excursions on the street / we always do this, much cheaper and no problems /. We went to Pamukalle, Dalyan, Knidos, Datca, Gekovo, my husband went rafting / is wildly delighted /. There were crowds of people in Pamukalla and Dalyan, which made me very nervous.
We went to Marmaris once - it's HORRIBLE!!! . There is practically nowhere to park a car, May Day demonstration and mud on the embankment, music yells everywhere, in general a nightmare / by the way, in Marmaris music plays until 4 in the morning, and in Icmeler until 12 at night /, so choose where to live for 2 weeks especially with a child.
When leaving, half of the bus spoke like this - "everything is fine, the nature is beautiful, but I will not come here again" and I have the same opinion, I think that there is nothing to leave such money for Kemer could go to the top five and Russians there are 70%, I like it, although my husband and son were very pleased and did not even want to leave.
The food is much different from other hotels for the better, only with the animation they let us down, but it's not fatal - 15 minutes from the hotel - Marmaris with its nightclubs : )
I really enjoyed staying there.
