The hotel is great!
Yes - paid extra for a superior room with glass balconies overlooking the sea.
The kitchen is excellent - everything is cooked on the grill.
Excellent budget 5.
The hotel is full of locals, arrogant, they are served first of all, they look at us like garbage! The beach chairs are old and broken. The reef is average. I haven't eaten anything for the last three days because I got food poisoning. The attitude is indifferent, they cleaned so-so, changed the towels and then when you throw them on the floor, and if not, then they put the wet ones on top. Only the bed was made and the garbage was taken out, no one wiped the dust anywhere... There is no animation from the word AT ALL! Once we went to the show - stupid tricks, I have never seen anything like this in any hotel! There wasn’t even a Christmas tree on New Year’s Eve, the money for New Year’s dinner was paid, but... we go almost every year to Egypt on New Year’s Eve, we were in fours, but it was much better. Everything was tasteless and terrible. There was no New Year's program at all, at least they did a disco, though the so-called animators were jumping in tracksuits, that's all the performance.
In general: we go there more than a foot and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. I only liked the sea. Conclusion: Pyramis sucks. Three with a minus.
1) Everything is very dilapidated, old
2) It is very close to the airport. You can hear very well and in some places you can even see all the takeoffs and sometimes landings.
3) Often the smell of kerosene (or something like that) is carried by the wind from the airport.
4) The territory seems to be large, but all in steps. nowhere to walk.
5) Some of the buildings are closed for repairs and spoil the view.
6) The beach line seems to be long, but in fact you can swim only on a small pontoon or on 30 meters of a gently sloping beach.
7) There is no Wi-Fi, only at the reception. And then half-dead.
8) The food is very poor, there are almost no fruits.
9) From cocktails - only 2 types - "alcoholic" and non-alcoholic)
10) Local alcohol - impossible to drink.
11) Cola is also diluted with some kind of garbage. Beer is more or less drinkable.
Food: varied, lots of choice. Seafood was not provided at all. Fruits: apples, oranges, melon, dates, pear, kumquat. Rarely gave figs, bananas. Room service is terrible, if you don't give him money, no one will clean your rooms. Animation is disgusting, monotonous, boring. They entertain children over 4 years old, they drive the little ones, do not pay attention to them at all. The sea is beautiful, this is the only plus of this hotel. The territory is large, but not well-groomed, garbage is lying everywhere, there are plates, dry bushes grow. The guide who comes to meet you does not tell the whole truth about the excursions, his business is to sell, but what and how it will be there will be a surprise for you.
We used to rest in the line of Albatros 4 * hotels, compared to this 5th, Albatros heaven and earth. We do not recommend Pyramisa.
Comparing what was the hotel under Dessole and now under Otiun, it definitely got worse. Before departure, I wanted to read fresh reviews, there were few of them. When I arrived, I understood why - 93% are Egyptians and a little bit of Belarusians, Serbs, Ukrainians. Especially on weekends, the hotel is packed, about 1000 people.
Check-in - explained that this was not the first time in this hotel, they told us anyway, the owner has changed, your bonuses have been canceled, but still, when I was indignant, they brought a bathrobe, slippers to the room and allowed to go to a la carte restaurants as much as we want.
Room - gave 1209 in a building with an updated interior, a view of the sea and the pool. 1208 for example - a view of the construction site. A day later he gave a buck - they cleaned it normally.
Sauna - does not work, you can see it drilled inside and do not plan to launch it yet.
Disco - not working, used to be a good dance.
The bar in the large pool is not open, so everyone is hustling in the pool with slides. The bar on the beach worked intermittently - then there was no electricity, then booze...
Beach - mattresses for 15% of sunbeds, sunbeds are rusty. The entrance to the sea is sandy, rocky in some places (we take karalki). The sea is beautiful, the lagoon is blue, there are not many corals, but there is something to see. On the left, where divers swim, there are a couple of beautiful places and a little near the columns, near the iron structure on the right there are a lot of fish.
The dining room (I won’t call it a restaurant) is noisy, impudent Egyptians climb out of line, shouting, din, they barely have time to clean up. The chairs are old and shabby. About the fact that drinks were brought, I generally keep quiet. The food is tolerable, the diet is 3+.
Animation 3+, more for the Egyptians.
They stole branded slates from my son, asked at the reception to look at the cameras who took it, they said the guards would not do this. They say a lot of Egyptians ran over, most likely they stole.
In general, rested more or less normally. To go to the hotel or not - well, if it's very cheap!
