Near our building there was a heated pool and a bar (the best thing is when the sea is windy). Although Stella Garden is the second line to the sea on foot, you can walk past the shops and the first line hotel. If you're too lazy, a bus runs every ten minutes. The beach itself with enough sun loungers, umbrellas and excellent sea. On the beach bar, animation. Beautiful coral reef from the pontoon. I swam with pleasure. For children there is an entry into the sea from the shore. There are many children in the hotel.
The food for both adults and children is tasty and quite varied. Service is top notch. In the evening there is animation in both hotels and we ourselves chose where we would have more fun. The hotel has many tourists of different nationalities. I liked it very much. Special thanks to the staff: very unobtrusively from a half-word made our stay comfortable. We found new friends and hope to come back here again...: ).
For me, everything is perfect here, even the so-called second line. The beach is about 10 minutes on foot, but since walking is useful, this is only an advantage))
The staff is incredibly friendly and willing to help.
There are no complaints about food either, the choice is quite good for every taste.
The beach is large, there is a lot of space, the entry from the shore is not very good, but there are two descents from the pontoon, i. e. everything is great too!

The hotel is on the second line, with a common area of the hotel Stella li Mare beach.
Not close to the sea. On the territory there is one heated pool (30 "c) - everything is in it and around it... If you want to sunbathe comfortably, you can lie down near another pool... (other pools are 18" c)
The kitchen is edible, but no more... The restaurant is quite dirty - soft chairs are in terrible spots . . the plates are always poorly washed . .
The rooms are after renovation, very good - that's right, very much, compared with the general impression of the hotel . . were in 2952.
Wi-fi is a pain. . . I haven't seen anything like this in any top five. . . it's only at the reception, if you want in the room - 5 € per day or 10 € - 3 days. . .
There are markets and one pharmacy between the hotels - prices are two to three times higher than usual... 30 kilometers to the senzo mall in Hurghada, Uber to help ($ 5-7 one way)
The sea... the beach is large, there are a lot of sun loungers, but there is very little protection from the wind... therefore, they could not sit on the beach for a long time... ))) swimming was also unrealistic because of the cold wind. )) but, judging by the waves (! ), it's not very shallow.
If these two hotels (Garden and Beach) are marked as number one and number two in Makadi Bay... it's scary to imagine that in the rest! )))). . .
If you get a tour for little money, then, of course, you can close your eyes to a lot and go, change the situation.
We rested with a family with two children, settled instantly - very pleased!
The territory is chic, well-groomed, a lot of greenery in both the Garden and Stella, clean and beautiful!
Meals for 5+, even my husband, who is picky about food, was always full and satisfied))) I was pleased with seafood, my husband had kebabs and a barbecue menu, cream soups, pizzas, fruits for children - class !!!

The sea is clean and beautiful, sand, beautiful well-groomed beach, shallow, depth and snorkeling only from the pier. Separately, I will praise morning and afternoon exercises on an ideal lawn under palm trees, on the seashore... class))) plus an incendiary zumba is something)))
In general, the hotel can be safely recommended to friends.
There are also some minor drawbacks:
- dull evening animation. Many tourists went to the animation in Stella Beach.
- every day the cleaner put 2 bottles of water at 0.5 each in a double room. Of course, this amount of water was not enough. Many tried to pour water into these bottles in a restaurant, but they were reprimanded and no water was given. In general, they save on trifles, we have not seen this before.
As for the rest, I liked everything, we swam and sunbathed enough.
Were in decent hotels and not so... Depending on the price and time of year.
This hotel had only rave reviews for food and cleanliness. The only bad thing was the sea, judging by most of the reviews.
Our impression after 14 days of staying at the hotel is the following - the kitchen just sucks, plus complete unsanitary conditions. Huge lines of hungry tourists. Unimaginably huge pandemonium, which is simply unacceptable. The serving chefs themselves throw minimal portions, not always of high quality, onto your dish with undisguised contempt.
The waiters do not understand what a clean table is, mountains of dirty dishes are on the tables, tourists themselves often clean the dishes and wipe the terribly dirty tables.
The area is really clean and well maintained. A huge disadvantage is the presence of mosquitoes that deprive sleep at night.
Due to the fact that the hotel is crowded, there is endless noise, which, accordingly, makes the rest tense. On the beach, before our eyes, a beach mushroom from the sun weighing more than 100 kg fell, miraculously did not cripple the lying tourists.
In the areas on the terraces where you would like to sit with a cup of coffee - this is the area of u200bu200bparadise for smokers. They are a priority, there are ashtrays for them, smoke with a rocker. If you don't smoke - look for a place for yourself somewhere else. It turns out that people suffering from addiction and poisoning healthy people with their smoke are the complete masters of life here.
Housekeeping for easy 2, room and furniture killed.
The biggest negative is that the beach towels are not changed at all. For 14 days we could hardly beg us to change once. In addition, towels must be worn every day to and from the beach. Due to the fact that the hotel is far away, it is very tiring, especially for people who are elderly or in poor health.
Of course, reception managers react to everything with lightning speed, which is commendable.
Also, the hotel is located away from Hurghada, getting there if you wish is not cheap, there is a transfer (taxi service) at the hotel. We once used this service and paid round trip, fixed departure and return times. They brought it there and forgot to take it back, as a result, they waited two hours until they remembered us. This is tin.
The sea is really shallow with low tides, but if you wish, there are places nearby where you can swim perfectly. There are no complaints about the sea.
We were reassured by the fact that we were traveling at a promotional price.
But there is not the slightest desire to return to this hotel even for free.
